How do I go about suing someone for the titles to a car i purchased from a relative?

I brought a Honda from a relative. we had a bill of sale contract the car must be paid off on or before April 15, I paid the car off in Feb. I keep calling him and he says he is going to get around to getting the titles. I need to know what do i do? How do I file for my titles, or Can i sue him for the price i paid and keep the car?

1. No, you can't sue for the money AND keep the car. You can sue for one or the other. I recommend taking the bill of sale to the title office and asking is there is any way to have the car retitled in your name without further action by the relative.
