I'm thinking about buying a cheap used car online, should I do it?
What's the process of buying a used car online? Should the description and photos be sufficient information to make a decision?

- Yes and all the time that stuff on there dont be true about the car so if you cant physically see whats wrong with the car yourself with a mechanic dont buy it
- No. You should always get a mechanic or auto club to check out a car before purchase. Even lemons can look great and can you fully trust a seller's description?
- NO don't do it. Since less then 35%of cars bought online that are seen in person , the buyer backs out. Too many con-artists who make a 20,00.00 car sond like it is worth 30,000 and when you show up is not worth even 15,000.00. Buy local as everyone will have same cars with some looking.
- Photos and information posted on a web is NEVER enough. Always inspect the car physically, test drive it and if you can, have it inspected by a mechanic as well. That being said, you can buy a cheap used car online as long as you do what I mentioned above. There are many sites that offer them, try http://www.hotsellingcars.com/ to find something that's local to you.
- You had better know what you're doing. Many people get stung buying a used car in person. It's done online every day, but unless you were extremely knowledgeable and know exactly what you're looking for, I wouldn't buy a car where I had to rely on pictures and written descriptions.
