What is up with my car?

I have 95 monte carlo that has 156,000 miles on it and it wont start. The all the lights come on and radio works but when I try to start it it wont make a sound. fuses dont look like there bad. but about three months ago some one hit me with no insurance and damaged finder and broke drivers side light but it still started after that until now. I just want to get it started so I can sell it to get a more reliable car. Thanks you for reading my question and I hope you can help .

1. what the chuff is a monte carlo? Sounds like the starter motor is jammed or the starter solenoid. Give the car a push forwards a few feet and try again

3. bad battery just because the radio and lights work doesnt mean the battery is strong enough to turn the car over get a new battery B.
4. dead battery. (dead enough)
5. Could be one of two things or both , remove battery cables and clean re connect and then try, If no start have it jumped no start replace starter . If starts replace battery, hope this helps.
6. sounds to me like it could be the starter....Is the engine even cranking when u turn the key?if so, could be either the battery or the altenator. Look at your voltage gauge on your dash, when u turn the key, the voltage should be in the 9 to 14 volts range
7. 1st thing if no noise no power to the starter. check the voltage regulator . and the starter.
8. It may have nothing to do with the accident . You need to have the starter checked or the alternator. It has happened that some things work but, it could still be bad. And good luck with that.
