Can I tax my car online if the tax has run out?

Im selling my car and the tax was up at the end of last month. Will I be able to tax online or will I need to go to a main Post Office? Thanks in advance.

2. Yes,I've done it a few times. As long as it is insured and has an M.O.T. if applicable, you will be OK
3. You can, but it will be quicker to go to the Post Office as it's expired.
